Bespoke Custom FIBC Bulk Bag Supplier India | India Pack
Bespoke Bag — Sourced From Audited Indian Factories
A fully custom-engineered FIBC or PP woven bag built to your exact dimensional, load, liner, and compliance specifications — no catalogue constraints.
Overview
A bespoke bag — also referred to as a custom bag, made-to-order bag, custom FIBC, or custom PP woven bag — is a flexible bulk container or woven bag engineered entirely to the buyer's specification. No standard panel configuration, closure type, SWL, or liner option is assumed. Every parameter is defined by the buyer: panel construction (circular, 2-panel, 4-panel, or U-panel), body GSM, safe working load, safety factor, liner gauge and type, coating, print panels, and any certification path required for the destination market. Buyers using a bespoke route are typically those whose load characteristics, handling equipment, or compliance requirements fall outside what any standard catalogue SKU can satisfy.
The discipline a procurement manager applies to a bespoke order differs from a standard reorder. With a catalogue bag, the factory's published SWL and test documentation are the reference. With a bespoke bag, the buyer's own specification document becomes the governing record — and the most common failure mode is specification drift: the document issued at RFQ stage is not the document the factory builds to when corners are cut under production pressure. The questions to resolve before placing a bespoke order are: Is the specification complete enough that a factory cannot silently interpret an underspecified parameter in their favour? Are there pre-production samples with sign-off? Is there mid-production oversight, or is the first view of compliance at the port? Buyers who have been through a short-shipment or a failed-test scenario on a bespoke order typically ask these questions at enquiry stage, not after dispatch.
India is the dominant source for both FIBC and PP woven bag production globally, combining established weaving and stitching infrastructure with a cost base that remains competitive for custom runs. India Pack operates as the buyer's procurement office in India — sourcing from a network of 10+ audited FIBC manufacturers, running specification verification against the buyer's document, providing production oversight, and handling export documentation. India Pack does not manufacture. The margin is inside an all-inclusive, benchmark-able price; there is no separate sourcing fee charged to the buyer.
Which Bag Do You Need?
The bespoke route applies when your requirement cannot be met by an existing standard type. The table below maps common requirements to the appropriate page. If your requirement is listed under a standard type, starting there will be faster and more cost-efficient.
| Your requirement | Recommended |
|---|---|
| Standard 4-loop FIBC, circular construction, open top or spout top, standard SWL | Open Top Discharge Spout Bag |
| FIBC with spout top and discharge spout, standard construction | Spout Top Discharge Spout Bag |
| U-panel FIBC with PE liner, standard configuration | U Panel Bag with Liner |
| FIBC requiring UN certification for hazardous goods transport | UN Bag with Spout |
| Anti-static FIBC for flammable or explosive environments | Type C Bag with Label |
| Tunnel-lift FIBC where standard four-loop handling is not possible | Tunnel Lift Bag |
| Non-standard dimensions, SWL, closure, liner, coating, print, or certification path that no standard bag covers | (this page) — Bespoke Bag |
Common Bespoke Configurations
Because every bespoke bag is defined by the buyer's specification, the configurations below are representative starting points, not fixed SKUs. Each requires a complete specification document before quoting.
Bespoke FIBC — Custom Panel and Closure
Circular, 2-panel, 4-panel, or U-panel construction; any top and bottom closure combination. Used when standard panel geometry does not suit the filling or discharge equipment.
- Best for: Non-standard filling heads, custom discharge systems, equipment-matched inlet/outlet dimensions
- Key spec: Panel type, inlet/outlet diameter, SWL, safety factor — all buyer-defined [FILL]
Bespoke FIBC — Custom Liner and Coating
Any liner type (form-fit, 4-seam, 2-seam, tubular) and any coating specification. Used for moisture-sensitive, food-grade, or pharmaceutical bulk solids requiring specific barrier properties.
- Best for: Hygroscopic products, food ingredients requiring food-grade certification, products sensitive to electrostatic discharge
- Key spec: Liner gauge (micron), coating weight, liner attachment method — buyer-specified [FILL]
Bespoke FIBC — Custom Print and Branding
Multi-colour print on one or more panels, including brand marks, hazard labels, handling instructions, and barcodes. Used where standard unprinted or single-colour bags are insufficient for end-user identification or regulatory marking.
- Best for: Retail-facing bulk packaging, hazardous goods labelling, brand compliance requirements
- Key spec: Number of print colours, panel area, artwork files — buyer-supplied [FILL]
Bespoke PP Woven Bag — Custom Dimension and GSM
Any woven construction, any GSM, any print configuration, in sizes outside the standard PP woven range. Used for packaging lines with specific bag-mouth dimensions or weight ranges not covered by standard stock sizes.
- Best for: Specialty agricultural inputs, custom retail-weight packs, industrial powders requiring non-standard dimensions
- Key spec: Width, length, GSM, lamination, liner — buyer-defined [FILL]

Industries and Applications
The bespoke route is appropriate in any sector where the bag must conform to the application, rather than the application conforming to the bag.
Food and Beverage Ingredients
What's packed: Starch, sugar, flour, spices, salt, food-grade powders and granules.
Typical requirement: Food-grade liner with specific attachment method; body GSM and SWL matching filling line parameters; compliance documentation for destination market. Suppliers hold ISO 22000 [VERIFY per factory]. Standard FIBC sizes frequently do not match filling head geometry or pallet footprint in food facilities — bespoke dimensions resolve this without retooling the line.
Chemicals and Minerals
What's packed: Fertilisers, specialty chemicals, mineral powders, pigments, industrial salts.
Typical requirement: Specific SWL and safety factor matched to the product density; moisture barrier; discharge spout sized to the unloading system. Where the product is flammable or generates electrostatic charge, construction must meet Type B or Type C standards — this is a compliance requirement that must be specified at RFQ, not added post-production. Relevant certifications held at factory level [VERIFY per factory].
Construction Materials
What's packed: Cement, sand, aggregates, tile adhesives, building compounds.
Typical requirement: High SWL relative to bag volume; specific loop construction for crane or telehandler lifting; dust-resistant sewing. Standard builders bags cover a wide range of this sector, but non-standard pallet heights, filling rates, or equipment constraints create bespoke requirements.
Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical
What's packed: Active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), excipients, nutraceutical powders.
Typical requirement: Form-fit liner; controlled cleanroom production conditions; full material traceability documentation; specific print and labelling for regulatory compliance. This sector almost always requires a bespoke specification — standard catalogue bags do not carry the traceability documentation required. Factory certifications relevant to pharmaceutical bulk packaging [VERIFY per factory].
Retail and Consumer-Facing Packaging
What's packed: Compost, soil improvers, biomass, animal feed, pet products.
Typical requirement: Multi-colour print across one or more panels; specific handle or closure for end-consumer use; non-standard dimensions for shelf or display fixture. The bespoke route is the only path when brand standards and retail fixture dimensions jointly constrain the bag geometry.
